The most obvious difference between one person and the
next is gender. Sexist jokes have been around for centuries,
men attacking women, women attacking men. With women, they can
appreciate a good joke when they see it, so if it's attacking their
gender, that's usually okay - in most situations they can deal with
it. As for men… hmmm! When a joke is sexist, this
gender being attacked usually has a comeback, or just "sabotages"
the joke, by expressing the sarcastic "ha ha." But, we don't think
there is a major marked difference between the senses of humor
between the genders - there are more significant differences
between one person to the next that have a greater effect on
finding something funny or not.
