Body
language is an important clue to telling how someone is feeling
|
Along with facial expressions, body language also seems to be an automatic response to expressing emotions. We can easily identify what emotions someone is experiencing by simply, looking at their gestures, movements, posture, or listening to their tone of voice. Body Language also displays their attitude as well.

Body language, is very useful in everyday life. For example, someone is telling you something about your school work, you may not remember all of what they said, you then remember some gestures they used to emphasize a point. Everything comes back to you. This makes clear the point that, you remember what you see rather than what you hear.
Using positive body language shows that you are interested in the conversation or person you are talking to. Using a flat tone of voice and very little movement indicates a lack of interest. You tend to be more animated when you are interested in something.
But you have to be careful when interpreting someone's body language. Not everybody who suddenly crosses their arms is "angry" or "closing themselves out" or someone who yawns during a meeting, isn't necessarily "bored". So just be careful, when trying to decipher someone's body language.
