Kerry's Garden

PeonyWhat better way to keep up with seasonal changes in the garden without the fear of visitors with secataurs in their pockets than a virtual garden tour.  This might also be a way of providing some staff with the opportunity to exercise their web   skills in a staff corner with things such as cooking pages, exercise hints and the list might go on.

It's also a practical way to have a go at using the new digital camera.  These shots were taken over the weekend with a minimum of effort and just a little adjusting using Photoshop.  The peony above is one of my new ones.  Still a little shy.

Japanese maple
The Japanese maple on the right has been through a bit of stuggle but has finally found a spot it seems to like.  Around it are hellebores, honesty, azaleas and some sort of iris.  There were forget me nots until yesterday when I sent a trailerload off to be recycled.

In the front

Out the front, there is a bit more sun so there are geums, grasses, lambs ears, irises, bluebells and campanula.

Backyard
Also around the back is the native area.   This is home to a couple of magpies as well as the possums.  We feed the magpies to stop them swooping us and they are almost feeding out of our hands.  This area will be great when I stop the neighbour trying to chop it back.  The plan is to block out the view of any houses.

Along my driveway

And along the driveway there are roses, A Japanese maple, catmint, ranunculis, lavender, shasta dasies, seaside daisies and a whole lot more.

Mapgpie chasing the dog?
And finally, I couldn't let you go without a picture of the dog chasing the magpie, or is that the magpie chasing the dog?
