Tape Drives
Tape drives are used mostly to backup computers. The reason for this
is that tape backups are very slow, and they operate off of a tape roll.
The tape roll is similar to cassette tapes used for music recording. Tape
drives are an inexpensive method used to back up large amounts of data.
When large enterprises and networks need to backup valuable data, they
use tape drives.
