SRAM
SRAM or Static Random Access Memory is called static because the memory doesn’t need a constant update. SRAM stores the information by hundreds of transistors pushed into the on or off position. SRAM is physically bulky and limited in its capacity. SRAM can often store about 256K per IC (Integrated Circuit). SRAM were originally used in the original PC and XT.
