RAM Expansion Boards

A RAM expansion board

This is a MCA RAM expansion board.

During the olden days, the computer only had so many RAM slots, and RAM could only hold so much per chip. Therefore, the RAM expansion board was introduced, which allowed the user to add a large amount of RAM to the computer. Today, RAM chips can be ordered with almost any amount on them, which eliminates the need for such devices.
