Other Peripherals
Hardware inside of the "gray box" can also be considered a
peripheral. This returns us to the original definition, where a peripheral
is something that is not a principle part of the computer. Therefore, items
such as the sound cards, modems, and Ethernet card could be discussed in
this section.
