On Board Connectors
Here is two types of cables that are plugged into the on board connector.
On Board Connectors are the connectors that lie directly on
the motherboard. They are designed to allow the motherboard have a direct
connection to the Power button, Reset button, LEDs, Speaker, and Fan. The
onboard connector is generally a grid of pins located on the corner of
the motherboard. In order to connect the devices to the proper connector,
a book describing the motherboard generally contains the information. This
differs from motherboard to motherboard and the individual connections
are not labeled very clearly.
