CDRW
CDRW is yet another take-off of the CDROM. CDRW is called CD rewritable and allows the user to write over the same media thousands of times. The CDRW provides the user with the same space capacity of 650 MB. Like the CDR drive, the CDRW drive requires different hardware and media to operate.

In order for CDR and CDRW media to work in other devices, the device reading the media must be CDR and/or CDRW compatible.
