Cable
Here is a picture of an average cable modem available to Internet
users.
Cable modems are emerging as a promising communication device for the
future. The cable modem offers a fast connection to the Internet. The cable
modem usually remains connected at all items and is wired from your original
home cable lines. The cable modem requires little setup and downloads at
phenomenal speeds. As cable companies are beginning to offer cable modem
services cheaply and everywhere, the analog modem is gradually dying in
popularity to avid Net users.
Note: Fiber optic wires allow the cable to be
used for fast dual connection to the Internet.
