There has been an abundance of new technology in the 1980’s and 1990’s.  The scanner, modem and mouse all became commonplace.  The computer of this period is what we use today – only today’s are faster and more user friendly. Software such as Microsoft Windows has made computers easier for all users by eliminating the need to learn text commands and allowing a graphical interface.
