Graph Predictor

The Graph Predictor
A picture of the graph predictor

The graph predictor was designed to allow you to see the pattern of the release of processor speeds and transistors per chip over the years.  The graph predictor traces this data from the start of the microprocessor at Intel in 1971 and continues to present day in 1999.  The Graph Predictor allows the user to edit the data set as they see fit.  You can use the graph predictor to estimate the speed of the next processor.  You can also test the relevance of Moore's Law.

Choose your path now.  You can go get help on the graph predictor.  Or you can go see the graph predictor itself.

Help                      Graph Predictor

If you are interested in the code for the graph predictor (1500 lines) you can mail the programmer, Joseph, about your request.  The graph predictor can be used to graph any data set.
