 Computers in the Home
In the Future
In today's home, a computer is an independent entity.  But in the home of the future, the line between the computer and other objects will blur.  Computers will be found in nearly every device in the home.  Refrigerators, coffee pots, and even pictures will contain small chips.

The idea of a server for a house is absurd at the moment.  But the future will bring a plethora of devices that can make use of this power.  Additionally homes will be filled with fiber-optics cable to transfer data.  Our connections to the internet will be thousands of times faster than they are today, allowing an abundance of new possibilities.  The home life of the average American will change radically as technology makes old tasks easier and opens new possibilities.
