Echinacea
Echinacea has many uses. It is excellent for colds because although it lacks antibiotic activity, it can helpo the body to use its own defenses against microorganisms. Echinacea can be used to shorten the relieve intensity and shorten the duration of colds and flu. When applied directly to the skin, echinacea can be used to speed the healing of wounds. It can also be used to control infections of the urinary tract.

CAUTION:
Do not use if you are infected with the HIV virus, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis.
Do not use for over eight weeks at a time.
