Witches today have their own beliefs of the following:
The Respect for Nature: witches use the elements from the earth, fire, air, and water. They believe that humans should use them in their lives.
Everyone Entitled to their own Beliefs: witches believe that everyone is entitled to his or her beliefs. They don't believe in converting people who have different beliefs from theirs.
Wiccan Rede (Law) : "An' it harm done, do what thou will." This means that no one should harm his or herself, others, or the environment.
Responsibility: witches believe that everyone is responsible for their own actions, thoughts, and feelings, and should not blame the devil or others. Witches believing in the devil is a stereotype made by Christians. They believe that no one has the right to tell anyone how to feel, think, or believe.
The Law of Threefold Return: whatever one does, whether good or bad, it will return to the person three times more.
Magic: being able to influence people by mind or will.
Scrying: being able to predict what is going to happen or seeing things that are hidden.
Celebration of the Wheel of the Year: celebrating different sabbats of the year.
The Cycle of the Moon: looking at different aspects of the Triple Goddess: the Maiden, Mother, and Crone through the moon phases: full, new, and waning.
Reincarnation and Summerlands: witches believe that people's spirits have many lessons to learn through their lifetimes. They believe that people go the Summerlands, which is in between their lives to meet people they lost and loved.
Healing: witches practice different types of healing, such as healing through herbs and meditation.
