Davey and Goliath

Goliath the dog     Davey and Goliath came out in 1962 a stop motion animation series for youngsters. The series was funded by the Lutheran Church of America so God did come up sometimes during a show. The main point of each show was to teach kids a lesson by Davey learning from his mistakes and Goliath, Davey's conscience. Lessons ranged from responsibility to racism. Although it was a show made to teach kids morals it wasn't boring because of good script writing and interesting characters. Once in a while a Davey and Goliath show will appear on a religious programming station. Best bet for viewing clips is at this place: The Unofficial Davey and Goliath Page.
