Well done! I don't mind where the menu bar is. A lot of these websites are just boring - all laid out the same way! Debates are great fun and an excellent educational tool. My students (aged 12) created the above website on Immigrants for TQuest this year.
Hard work, isn't it!?

Dear Monkey Face (JIAQI),
On behalf of all the other participants of ThinkQuest, I regret to inform u on the demise of your chances to even enter the preliminary rounds.
THanks a million for helping all the rest and setting such a low standard for the rest of participants. Geez, and we thought our web site was lousy.
Thanks for lifting our spirits. After looking at your website, we feel that there are far far far far worse web sites than ours.
We realise that we were being too humble and should be convinced of our prowess and your stupidity.
No matter what, we wish u good luck in the competition. You will need lots of it. Better pray hard
Ciao,
Your Friendly and Concerned ThinkQuest Competitors

Nevertheless, wishing you good luck for the competition, and may you PRAY for it. You need lots of it.

To clarify myself, I am not biased towards the designer Jiaqi, but this site really disgusts me. Your menu bar at the bottom of the screen is not completely visible from a computer using 800x600 resolution.
Darn you <lousy web site>

Gosh! Jiquan must have a very short life.. is he a six-year old kid??? This is the WORST web site i've ever seen! This seems that this site can be done within a few hours! Lousy design and the font is so unrefined. Brush up design skills please. Even the guestbook is so disgusting and difficult to read! Go home and sleep!! Perhaps in your next life you might enter the preliminary rounds.. of a local web page design competition before you disgrace internationally. (Directed to Jiaqi)
Darn you <lousy web site>

For years, debates have been conducted in schools, universities and colleges. However, no webpages(to my knowledge) has been published on the web. Good work guys!

Good work! Just a few comments.First, you could do with a comparison with the old format of the 4-man debate and the new Australian 3-man debate format, which is getting popularised in Singapore. What makes the latter more interesting and thus justifying the gradual replacement of one over the other? Second, what about the rules of debating? It is precisely the restrictions set by the stringent rules in debating that makes it exciting and breath-taking in the first place! Third, you could add some animation and graphics to make your site more eye-catching. You could also make the lower bar a little less conspicuous. That's all I have to say. I hope I have been of some help. Keep up the fantastic work!

Looks ok, but a bit on the dull side due to the formal content. Carry on the good work

Not a bad webpage!
Lots of good content, only problem is the lack of pictures and animations. =)
Also, the bar at the bottom was not eye-catching and i was wondering how to enter the main page at first.
Good message board scheme as well...
