Secound son of Odin and Frigg, and loved

| Bifrost: |
Also called the Rainbow bridge, it is a
bridge fashioned by the gods to span between Asgard and Midgard. It is guarded by Heimdall |
| Bor: |
The first god, he was licked out of pure
ice by Audhumla ' The Great Nurse'. He later married one of the frost giant's daughters. see

| Drinking Horn: |
The Norsemen drank out of large horns made
from polished ox-horn or metal. When the drinking horn was full it could not be put down
without overturning so the drinker would have to down the liquid in one gulp. |
| Fenrir: |
A giant wolf and one of Loki's children,
it is ordained that at the end of the world he will devour Odin and cause mass destruction

| Freyja: |
A beutiful Norse goddess of magic,
fertility and love. |
| Frigg: |
The beutiful wife of Odin and mother of
all gods, she was the goddess of fertility and marrage, and that is why her day, Friday,
was a lucky day for weddings. |

A yawning void that extended in every
direction. It existed before Everything and is the birth place of all living things. see

The magic fetter used to chain Fenrir the
Wolf, it was as soft as silk but stronger than any metal chain |
| Hel: |
Queen of the underworld, one of Loki's
children who was banished to Naastrand but was given power over those who die od illness

| Hermod: |
Another of Odin's sons, he went into the
depths of the Underworld to plead with Hel to allow his brother Balder to return to the
land of the living. see 'The death of Blader and the god's revenge' |
| Hoder: |
Another of Odin's sons, he is blind and
inadvertanly caused the death of his brother Balder. see ' The death of Balder and the
god's revenge' |
| Hugi: |
A giant that competed in a race with
Thor's servant Thailfi, Thailfi lost when Hugi finished the race and turned around to meet
him halfway, later it was found that Hugi was actually Thought which is the quickest thinf

A piece of land allocated to the giants by
the gods. |
| Lif and Lithrasir: |
The two destined to restart the human race

A giant who competed in an eating contest
with the god Loki, later it was found out that he was truley Flame who deboured everything

The Mischeif Maker, first father of Lies,
he is the shame of gods and mortals alike. This god often gets the other gods into
trouble. |

An alchoholic drink made of fermented
honey and water. |

Serpant: |
A vast serpant that circles
the world biting its own tail, one of Loki's offspring that was thrown into the ocean by

The Mullicrusher, Thor's mighty hammer and
his amin weapon. |
| Muspellhiem: |
A region of fire that exists in the
Southern part of Ginnungagap. It means: 'Home of the destroyers of the world.' see'Creation' |

| Niflheim: |
A region of ice and snow that exists in
the northern part of Ginnungagap. see 'Creation' |
| Odin: |
Known as the All-Father, he is the leader
of the gods. |

A time prophosied when the world shall be

| Sif: |
Thor's wife, goddess of cornfields. Her
long hair is made of pure gold. |

The faithful wife of Loki. see 'The

A giant who met up with Thor on his
journey to the land of the giants, later Thor found out tat he was truly Utgard-Loki,

An eight legged horse that serves Odin,

| Surt: |
A giant who stands at the edge of
Muspellheim gaurding it from intruders and waiting for Ragnarok when he shall sear all the

| Thailfi and Roskva: |
Two pesant children who were taken into
the service of Thor in compensation for the laming of one of his giant goats. see 'Thor
in the land of the giants' |
| Thor: |
God of thunder and lightning, one of the
best loved gods by man. Thursday is named after him (Thor's Day) |
| Tyr: |
Known as Tyr the Brave, fourth son of
Odin, The god Tyr is courageous and daring, he is also a war god and helped establish the
