What lies beyond the year 2000? Space Travel
|
In the future, space exploration and travel will become more and more important. Humans are explorers, whether it is sea, land or space, we explore. When we set targets for something, we accomplish it much faster, such as in the 1960s, the great space race between the US and the Soviet Union to get to the moon first, President Kennedy set a target and a deadline, and it was accomplished. We had a man on the moon before the end of the decade. Interest in the space program has dropped since NASA was first established in 1958. In the future, when we can travel further into space, and make more interesting discoveries, perhaps the interest in the Space Program will rise.
