Futuristic Cars

In the near future we could see cars that don't need a driver, there have been plans for cars that need no input from a human driver, all a person will have to do is sit in the drivers seat, punch in a destination code and the car will take you there. Some of the worlds leading motor car makers have already made prototypes for their new series of futuristic cars. They consist of the driver punching in a code once in the vehicle and then the car takes the passengers to the destination selected. The cars are extremely safe, the vehicles are able to sense how far away they are to the cars in front and or behind it on the road and can brake or accelerate if needed. If needed the driver can override the auto pilot and take control of the vehicle. The vehicles also contain the luxuries you would expect to find in all future cars such as leather seating and interior and safety airbags. Most of them are ex
pected to have the option of running on natural gas so that the environment doesn't suffer and so they are cheaper and easier to maintain and run. But as always there are downsides with these cars expected to cost more than US$50,000.

Electric Cars

Soon we may also see the world wide availability of a Electric car, the cars use electric batteries instead of fuel and releases hardly  any carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Toyota Japan have designed an Electric Vehicle that does all this, it is available in limited numbers throughout Japan and the United States. One downside at the moment is the cost but as it becomes more widely available the cost should drop making it a better alternative to new car buyers than the standard automobile

Above is an example of an electric car, it looks much like a normal automobile but actually runs on electricity rather than Fuel.
