The team expressed its sincere appreciation to the Lancaster County Public Library for procuring the references through the Virginia Interlibrary Loan program. The Lancaster County Public Library is not a governmental library, but a private library utilizing volunteers and dependent on public charitable support. The resources at the high school library were inadequate for a project such as this, and we greatly appreciate the community's support of this tremendous facility. It has enriched the educational system in our area. A special thanks goes to the following colleges and universities for their co-operation in lending books through the interlibrary loan program: The interlibrary loan program provides tremendous resources otherwise not available to small, rural, resource-poor school students, drastically improving the quality of our high school education. We thank all participating libraries in the great Commonwealth of Virginia. Virginia has been a leader in "regionalization" of resources, both with its governor's schools and in this interlibrary program.
The team wished appreciates the use of the internet periodicals and book on-line research procurement services at Virginia Commonwealth University - check out:

and at The College of William and Mary - check out:

The relatively inexpensive cost of nine cents a page and the excess terminals on Saturday mornings puts high powered research within reach of all students.
