PARTS OF A TOOTH
- Pulp is sensitive and holds the nerves and blood vessels deep down in the root of the tooth.
- Dentin is the hard material like your bones that surrounds the pulp.
- Cementum is a thin layer of material just like dentin, but it covers the root of your tooth.
- Enamel is the hard material that we see when we look at teeth. It covers the top of each tooth.
