1896, didn't it?
In 1896 was sailing for the first time at the Olympic program, but there was bad weather in the Bay of Salamis (there should the matches be held) and the matches were canceled. In 1900 were there sailing matches at the Olympics. In each class were there 7 matches. Each yacht might not count his worst race.
USA gold and silver
In 1984 had all 13 teams from the USA gold or silver won at the Olympics, an unique performance.
Where is the sea?
There are some countries which doesn't lay at a sea, and practice for a race at sea is very difficult then. But Austria, Switzerland and Hungary are good sailcountries at the Olympics.
