The very first diver who got a 10,00 was Pete Desjardins (VS, he was born in Canada) by the 3m diving in 1928. Almost everybody expected that he won at two parts of diving, 3m diving and 10m plank), but an Egyptenian was better. He was the winner because he had better points, but that was recalled by the Americans because Desjardins had higher placingnumbers.
