I have the same motherboard, and i had the exact same problem, but i got it working. I discovered that this motherboard supports a front panel audio connector. Jumper: JAUD1. If you are not using it, you have to remove the default jumper settings or you get nothing. By default, there are jumpers on pins 5/6 and 9/10. Remove both of these jumpers, and the machine boots right up!
