Hi I just built a computer the other day with a Tekram ATX
motherboard and after I got everything plugged in, I turned it on
and all that showed up on my monitor was green swiggly lines
moving around. I am not sure if putting in different type of ram
will clear this problem, and I tried a new monitor, and it acted
as if nothing was going to the monitor. Then I moved the card
into another slot and it did the same thing. After that I tried a
different video card (that I know works... it's out of my other
computer) and I plugged that in and it did the same thing. Is
this a possible PCI slot problem? Because the motherboard is new,
and everything is new. Even the video card that I knew worked was
new. Both monitors I tried were at least a year and a half old.
So what could be the problem? If anyone knows how to help please
do so, thanks!
