I have a p3 laptop running windows xp prof and my nephew spilled juice on my laptop so I turned it off and let it dry. Later on when I turned it back on it worked and loaded up fine but now when I try to load up it checks memory and all of that but after detecting ide settings it askes for a boot disk .. when I use the windows xp bootup disks at the end it says that it cannot find a hard drive .... ????? could anyone please help out I need valuable university papers off of it.. Thanks
