: Lately I've been having trouble running scandisk and defrag on both of my computers (a gateway & a dell).  I get a message that the drive contents changed, so it has to start over.<p>: I have used Cntrl, Alt, Del to close down all the programs but I dont know/cant tell which program is writing to the drive and I end up shutting them all down thru that window.<p>: There are lots of porgrams there, some I have no idea what they do...this seems cumbersome.<p>: Is there a better solution to this problem ?<p>
