Selected juniors from the Ateneo de Manila High School
voluntarily live with urban poor families in Metro Manila. They
stay with the family and experience what it really means to be one

Seniors from the Ateneo de Manila High School visit
children in public elementary schools and tutor them in various
subjects such as English, Math, Science, Arts and Drama.

The Jesuit Volunteers Philippines is a lay organization
of young men and women who assist is social, pastoral and
development work of missions, apostolates, NGOs, schools, and

- The Calcutta
Experience
Every fall quarter, a group of Seattle University
students travel to India to work with Mother Teresa's Missionaries
of Charity in Calcutta. There they work side by side with
volunteers from every corner of the world in Mother Teresa's homes
for the dying and destitute, for orphans, and for the mentally ill.
