Rhem David
Location: Quezon City, Philippines
Rem David is like any average Joe that enjoys
common things. He likes to mess around like any other kid and likes
to spend his afternoons in front of the TV with the Playstation on.
On other days, he likes to sit quietly in his room, and listen to
some music while reading a couple of comic books. When he is lucky,
he gets to borrow his friends guitar and play some tunes with
it.
But unlike any of the other average Joes around, he
got to start off on things quite early. Even before he graduated
from Grade School, Rem already invested time into computers and
indulged in self-study. By the time he reached High School, he
realized a potential in his computer studies, and by the time he
reached College, he co-founded two groups specializing in
computer-related work, particulatly on graphic design. He has also
contributed to several theatrical productions of Tanghalang
Ateneo as layout artist for their publicity materials.
Rem participated last year in the contest as coach
of semifinalist team 15816 on the subject of the 1986 EDSA Revolution of the Philippines.
