Opening a Location

There are two main ways of going to a web site address with your web browser: Through the dialog under the title bar and through the open location dialog box.

Opening a Location from the Title Bar

To open a location from the title bar dialog box, click to highlight the current text in the text area. To save typing, only highlight the address itself and not the http:// part of the url. If there is no text in the dialog box, then just click on the box:

Once you have highlighted the text, type a new URL into the dialog box:

Hit enter and you will go to the new site you have typed in.

Opening a Location from the "Open Location" Box

When you click on this button, a dialog box will come up. Type in the URL of the site you wish to visit in this dialog box:

Once you have typed in the URL of the site, click on the "Open" button or just hit the enter key.
