WHEN LIFE GENERATES DEATH (LEGALLY)

LUTHERANISM

Marthin Luther These are Marthin Luther's, initiator of the Reformation, words in one of his writings:
What is valid for killing is valid for oath. Killing is, as we know, strictly forbidden by the Ten Commandments. Yet, if it happens for order of God's word, then it's good and well; because if a judge sentence a murderer to death, he will act right and rightly won't break the V commandment, as God has ordered to punish wicked men for common peace.
