SITUATION IN CHINA

China is the State with the highest number of sentences to death, but there aren't official statistics. Among the approximately 65 crimes there are murder, drug traffic, some economical, political and opinion crimes, pornography trade, murder of holy pigs.
Mass-demonstrations are often organized to read death sentence, and the execution takes place soon after: the condemned is shown publically with the head bent, the hands tied up behind his back, and a poster tied up the neck with his name and the committed crimes. There's a violation of fundamental rights: many people spend the time from the condamnation to the execution handcuffed; besides, condamned's organs are often taken without asking the permission to his family.
