Titans Atlas Atlas was one of the Elder Gods who was forced to hold the world upon his shoulders by Zues. Cronus Cronus was the ruler of the skys until he had Zues as a son. Zues was his sixth child. He tried to eat Zeus, like he did to his other children, but Rhea, his wife, tricked him into eating a Stone. Zeus was given the gift of the Lightning bolt and was able to defeat Cronus. Prometheus Prometheus was the wisest Titan. He brought a number of gifts to mankind, fire among them. Fire was sacred to the gods, and Zeus punished him by trying to torture him for all eternity. Rhea Rhea was Cronus' wife. She is the mother of Zues, Posiedon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, and Demeter. She tricked Cronus into eating a stone to save Zues.
