Dare to Know the Creators! |
|
The purpose
of this page is to educate about Classical sculpture anyone from
the general public (who knows little or nothing about sculpture) to the
high school and college student studying art history. As creators,
our educational background in the field of art history equates to that of
a first year college student. But in developing this web page we too
did our studying! Many hours were spent searching
in libraries for useful books about Classical Sculpture and ancient
Greek culture and history. With these books (which have been listed
in our bibliography as a
suggested
reading list) vastly broadened our knowledge in this specific field,
enabling us to provide you with the many informative pages you should find
in our site. We greatly hope you enjoy this site and any knowledge
you learn while using our carefully designed educational resource.
Feel free to offer any comment
(positive or negative) that you might have. We, as page designers,
writers, and creators of this web site, tried our best to make this an interesting
and informative page. Among many of our goals for this page
was to make Classical Greek Sculpture interactive and universally accessible.
If you have any suggestions that would further this goal, PLEASE
send them to any of the three page creators listed below so that we can
further enhance your and others' future enjoyment and education.
If you just have a specific question about any aspect of Classical Greek
Sculpture, or the construction of this page, you can also send your query
to us - we'd be glad to help!
