Living: The Plateosaurus walked on all four legs. It stood upright to take the leaves down with its thumb-claws when it ate. The scientists say that it walked in herds, because they have found a great amount of skeletons, lying right next to each other in Germany.

Skeleton: The skull was small, and pointed out from a slim neck. Its large abdomen held on the stomach and vital organs. Its long and strong shoulders supported the big upper part of the body. Its extended foot, indicated, that it walked on the toes. The only place the scientists almost found a complete Plateosaurus, was on Greenland.
Skull: The skull was stronger than the Anchisaurs’ and had a deeper projection on the lower jaw.
Hands: Its solid bones gave it a strong, five-fingered hand, which could be used to carry things and as a defense-weapon.
