Theropods

These terrible animals were meat-eaters, some were fast, some were clever and some were big, but they all had some very sharp teeth. The problem of the Theropods was that their dinner could run away from them. Therefore they had to be quick as the Coelophysis, clever like the Velociraptor and big as the Tyrannosaurus. The Theropods were a group that lived through all of the ages of the dinosaurs, but died of course in the Cretaceous period. In the suborder Theropods there are three under-groups, the Herrerasauridae, the Ceratosauria and the Tetamurae.
