Life must be understood by looking back - but must be lived by looking forward. | |

That were the words of a great danish philosopher and maybe that is what fascinate us about the dinosaurs. We want to understand what the dinosaurs did for the humanity, I mean, if the dinosaurs had not extinct there would be no humans on this planet. The kids start with getting fascinated by their size, because it's exciting that there have lived animals on this planet, which were the size of a four-storeyed building. Secondly we are all fascinated by the mystery about the sudden extinction at the end of Cretacerous period. That is the whole thing about the "dino-mania", we are fascinated. If you ask a random person which dinosaur is his favourite, there would be no one who says, that they do not have a favourite dinosaur. And so the story continues, the kids have little plastic dinosaur, they read about them and they sometimes see a movie. "The Land Before Time" are a gigantic succes and there have been made 4 sequels. For the little more grownups, we could take "Jurassic Park" as an exampel. The first one was the most seen movie at that time, and the sequel did almost as good. So lean back, and once again, get fascinated by the "Dinosaurs".
