Introduction
Description on the Bronze Age Period and the cultures that developed during this time.

The Kerma Culture
While the C-Group developed in Lower Nubia, the Kerma culture was developing in Upper Nubia. This group played a much more active role in trading with Egypt and other Eastern Mediterranean regions.

The A-Group Culture
The A-Group culture evolved out of the Neolithic Period and into the Bronze Age. It is the first Nubian culture investigated by archaeologists

The Colonial Period
Nearing the end of the Bronze Age Period Egyptian rulers slowly started to control Nubia. The Colonial Period marks this time of Egyptian rule.

The C-Group Culture
Following the A-Group, the C-Group developed in Upper Nubia and spread into Lower Nubia. In the C-Group culture we see the first signs of trade between Nubia and Egypt.
