Hi there-
I'm in form and analysis class, and our teacher asked us to analyse Beethoven's 6th Symphony-Just the fourth movement, but I am confused as to the larger form. The piece follows Sonata principle (material stated in the non-tonic key comes back later in the tonic key), but it's soooo, programmatic, awesome, but....frustrating to analyse in terms of form. Does anyone have any ideas?
