: I am looking for help/advice/sites for teaching elementary school children about the development of the symphony and symphonic music. I have found myself teaching them much without an overall feeling of context. They will know about Beethoven's Ninth, but won't know how amazing a composition it was at it's writing nor how much an impact it had on future composers.
: I am presetly designing a new music curriculum for my school - and am completely free to do as I see best! It's a fun and daunting project. Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
