CAVERN DEMANOVSKA SLOBODY
It is located on the right side of the Demanova valley, on the north side of the Low Tatras.
The entre of the cavern (870 m) is accesible by a path from a parking.
The length of the cavern is 8400 m, but only 7624 m is well known. The cavern could be divised
into 4 horizontal levels
(Mramorove riecisko, Hlinena chodba, Sucha chodba, Kralova galeria).
The cavern is unique for itīs sintre decoration... we have to mention the sintre water-lily, other lake
forms, mighty waterfalls of sintre a lot of forms of stalactits.
We can find inside also few lakes...the biggest one is 52 m long, 5-12 m wide and 7 m deep.
The temperature of air is 6,2 - 7,3 °C, the relative humidity 94 -99 %.
