Conclusion

After completing our project, we've learned many things and through these, we came upon a few conclusions regarding our project. Although these conclusions may not necessarily be entirely true, since it is our own sets of conclusions through research, surveys and chats with our fellow peers, it should be at least quite substantial and it should generally reflect the Singaporean viewpoint of our country's teenage problems.

Our main conclusion is that although the delinquents of Singapore are behaving very bad and being quite unruly, most of them are however can be changed with proper guidance. Some, on the other hand, can no longer be saved and these are the more serious cases of delinquents. Most of the time, these delinquents are the people who influenced their friends to follow in whatever they do which thus causes the increase of the number of delinquents in Singapore. Basically, most of these delinquents are just mild cases and they behave in an unruly manner because it is their "usual" way of behaviour and they see nothing wrong with it. They like to dress loosely and keep cool hairstyles because they want to follow the crowd and keep up with the latest trend. Some of them use vulgarities, but it's only because after they started learning it, they got used to it and cannot speak without using it.

We feel that these behaviours which are not looked upon in teens, can be easily changed. All in all, it just takes a little talk everyday with these teens, whether it's their teachers, their parents or their friends. Although parents would have a greater influence on them, teachers will also play a part to guide them along the right path. In fact, even as a teen, as a friend of these people, we can also play a part by chatting with them often and interacting with them, and through this, indirectly influencing them into our way of life.

With this, We end our conclusion. Let us all work together to help reduce the number of delinquents in Singapore and in so make ingapore a perfect place to live in.
