Soldotna
The scenic city of Soldotna is much like many other places in Alaska where it can only be reached by either boat or plane. Due to this fact, the city still holds some of the historic traditions and Russian influences that occupied this town years ago. The cities hold many opportunities for fishing both commercially and sport. At Kachemak Bay located in the city, much commercial fishing takes place and can easily be observed by visitors. Soldotna also offers many local fishing charters to cater to visitors that can enjoy a great Alaska fishing experience.
