An earache is an infection in some part of the ear. They are the most common ear problem. They can be caused by changes in temperature, going into deep water, riding in an airplane, or other events. There are many different medicines for earaches. If you have them often, you should see a doctor.
Deafness
As you know, someone who is deaf can not hear. Deafness is not being able to hear very well or not at all. There is no cure for deafness. Some people are born deaf and some are deaf because of an injury.
Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a ringing in the ears. It is usually caused by loud noises. Sometimes, a hearing aid or medicine is needed.

Swimmer's ear is a sickness that is common to swimmers. When water goes into your ear and comes back out, there is no problem. But when it becomes stuck, it can cause bacteria to start an infection. When this happens, an antibiotic is needed.
