 AUDIOLOGIST

An audiologist is a person who works to treat ear problems. An audiologist uses a tool called an audiometer which measures hearing ability. An audiologist can then determine the patient's ability to talk and communicate with people. The audiologist can then advise a hearing aid or special treatment. Special treatment may include learning to read lips or sign language. An audiologist is very important to helping people who can't hear or can't hear very well to overcome their problem and be able to do the same things a person without hearing problems can do.

 OTOLARYNGOLOGIST

An otolaryngologist is a person who works to treat ear problems as well as problems with the nose and throat. Basically, they specialize in helping the head and neck.
