Chlamidia can only be located in the male or female urethra, or eye. In women, it can also grow inside the pelvis. There is a wide range of severity in the symptoms, there may not be any visible signs, and there may be a sparse, clear discharge from the urethra. In all areas of infection, redness and irritation may occur. It can last years if not treated.
Chlamydia can be cured in one dose with Zithromax, if mixed with water, and ingested. Doxycycline, or Erythromycin also do the job in a week or more. Once Chlamydia is cured, it can not be contracted by that person again.
