Now that you have an account with an ISP you'll need to set up your PC to connect to it. By following these simple steps you'll be able to connect your Windows 95/98 pc to most ISP's. Please note that this tutorial is separated into several pages. This is so that each page downloads reasonably fast.

Some ISP's provide you with proprietary user interfaces. These ISP's provide their own softare and instructions on how to set up your connection. If you have problems connecting to these ISP's please contact the ISP's help desk.

1. First, click on START, go to SETTINGS, and click on CONTROL PANEL. Now click on NETWORK. You should now see the following on the screen.

This screen shows your network configuration. Click on ADD
