Step 3.

Insert the memory into the motherboard. This depends on the type of memory and the type of motherboard you have. Please refer to your motherboard's documentation.

 

Step 4.

Connect the hard drive and disk drives to the motherboard and attach them to the case. How the drives are attached to the case depends on the case. To connect the drives plug the cable that came with the hard drive into the back of the hard drive. Plug the other end of the cable into the IDE slot on the motherboard. Then plug one of the remaining wires from the power supply into the drive. Do the same for all your other drives.

 

Step 5.

Plug the video card, modem, sound card, and any other cards into the motherboard.

Step 6

Put the computer's top back on and screw it in place. Connect the monitor, keyboard, mouse and other peripherals to the computer. Now you need to place the Windows 95 startup disk into the disk drive and place the Windows 95 cd-rom in the cd-rom drive and turn on the computer. Now follow the Windows 95 installation instructions in your windows 95 manual.
