OK, but how can I input new data?
As you have probably seen Applet's screen is divided in two parts:
"Control panel" have buttons and three input cells.
You can input new data using All and B input cells. You decide how big is
the population and how many individuals have B genotype.
"y " shows the number y of alleles in the population
The row below shows the percentage.
How can I check actual state of population?
Press Stop. Then press Iter. , Now
B=, Now y= to see the number of last generation and number of individuals
of each genotype B and y.
Note: You can check this also while running the applet, without pressing Stop.
Speed: - changes "duration of live of one generation" - delay in milliseconds between subsequently created generations. For most comfortable viewing delay for not numerous (fast generated) populations should be high (15) and for numerous population should be low (0).
How can I change delay?
Input new dealy in the input cell on the right and preses the Speed
button.
Note: You can change the delay while running the applet.
Stop - holds up creating new generations.
And if the data is wrong?
Then, simply, the "Wrong" label will show.
New - exit the simulation, it allows to Start a new one.
